Existing to grow healthy churches that are accomplishing the Great Commission
2013 Annual Report
By Dr. Doug Talley

One of the expressions I often use in working with pastors and churches is "moving the ball down the field."  The focus of that expression is making progress.  While it would be nice to score a touchdown with every possession, just making forward progress is something to celebrate and increases the likelihood of scoring.

For Indiana Ministries moving the ball down the field means making progress towards developing a culture of health and growth in our churches, as well as cheering for our congregations.   I believe God wants all churches to be healthy and to make disciples.  That includes being missionally focused, discipleship oriented, relationally sound, financially responsible, and developing a godly and productive leadership culture.  I also believe God wants all churches to be expanding the Kingdom.

On October 5, 2013, you can catch the wave of extreme love by uniting as the Church of God for a Global Service Day. Pastors and lay leaders are encouraged to engage in an activity that is relevant to the particular needs of their community so the extreme love of Jesus can be seen, felt and heard in meaningful ways.

Volunteers Needed in Oklahoma!

If you have skills in hanging drywall, doing electrical work or trim work, volunteers are needed to help a family finish rebuilding the house they lost in the Oklahoma tornado. The outside has been completed but Three Nails Projects Director Bob Morrison is hoping to find a team that can come to Shawnee and complete the inside work. If you are interested and available, please email Bob at threenailsprojects@hotmail.com or call 812-881-0702.
