Interim Found for New Zealand Church
By Dr. Doug Talley A couple of months ago Indiana Ministries adopted the only Church of God congregation in New Zealand. To my knowledge this is a first of its kind partnership between a church outside the United States, Global Missions, and a state ministry. The first step in this partnership has been to recruit an interim pastor to lead the church through a transition period and prepare the congregation for a new lead pastor. God has quickly answered our prayers with the selection of David and Greta Reames as the new interims! (Click here for more information about them.) Volunteers Needed in Oklahoma!
If you have skills in hanging drywall, doing electrical work or trim work, volunteers are needed to help a family finish rebuilding the house they lost in the Oklahoma tornado. The outside has been completed but Three Nails Projects Director Bob Morrison is hoping to find a team that can come to Shawnee and complete the inside work. If you are interested and available, please email Bob at threenailsprojects@hotmail.com or call 812-881-0702.
