Recently I spent a very intense week in a class on organizational development.  Along with being a living organism, local congregations are also organizations.  And it seems like a lot of what I do involves working with that dimension of church life.  The class stretched me frequently. The participants were organizational leaders in the corporate world, and I found myself wondering how I would be accepted - IF I would be accepted given that I am a pastor.  The experience grew me in a lot of ways.

Annual Pastors' Wives Retreat 
May 17-19 @ Camp Camby
The dates of the Pastors' Wives Retreat are approaching quickly! The fun will be held at Camp Camby which is on the southwest side of Indianapolis.

David Ravell coming to Indiana

 

David Ravell, pastor of our Church of God congregation on the Gold Coast of Australia, will be in the US for Global Gathering  (June 22-25) and for a couple of weeks following.  He would love to connect with pastors across Indiana between June 27th and July 12th for coffee or lunch to share what God is doing in Australia and to build relationships with other pastors. David's church, Journey Church, is in covenant with Indiana Ministries and we are thrilled to be able to partner with them. We have limited dates available (all of his weekends are already booked) so please contact Cindy Talley at ctalley@indianaministries.org to schedule your time with David as soon as possible.
