Cargill Grabs Grand Performance Corporate Challenge Title
Team posts fastest qualifying time in event history
In their second attempt in as many years, the Cargill "A" team mounted the top step of the Grand Performance Corporate Challenge podium. The Cargill racers roared to the fastest qualifying time in the competition's three-year history, covering the 6 laps in a blazing fast 1:55.10. In their debut last year, the Cargill squad had placed third.
The Medtronic/Perkinge team took the silver medal. The Medtronic squad finished just shy of Cargill in the gold final, falling short in defense of their 2013 title. Boston Scientific sent two teams into the bronze final, with the #1 team edging the #2 team for the 3rd step on the podium. The bronze medal proved to be vindication for the #1 team that had qualified one second slower than the #2 team in the evening's earlier rides.

We have another busy night ahead on Thursday tomorrow! The Muscle Milk Miss n' Out continues its march through the season for the Category 3 riders. The women will contest a Queen of the Sprint Keirin and the Category 4/5 riders will ride for Scratch Race glory in the 40-lap state championship.
With only two series races left, just 3 points separate the top four racers in the Muscle Milk Miss n' Out. It's anybody's game. Linsey Hamilton (Synergy) and Margeaux Claude (Koochella) stand just three points apart at the top of the Queen of the Sprint table going into the penultimate race this week. For both fields, Thursday's races will prove to be pivotal.

2WW was founded because of our love for biking and weather. However, we made a pact when we gave birth to this child, "If we find ourselves slaving over weather data, website revisions, and business we will shut it down and go bike". We scrounge the weather data holes to bring you the super detailed, hyperlocal weather information you need to plan your rides.
