he Fair Housing Act was passed 47 years ago but it has evolved over time in response to societal changes. HUD has proposed the "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing" initiative, which seeks to expand fair housing choice, eliminate racially and ethnically concentrated areas of poverty, and reduce disparities in access to important community assets such as quality schools, job centers, and transit. Basic Requirements of a Lead-Based Paint Disclosure

Rumors have swirled lately that sellers are not required to fill out the Residential Lead-Based Paint Disclosure (

Form LPD) if they answer the two questions about lead-based paint and lead-based paint hazards in the Seller's Property Disclosure (Form SPD).
