The Rules and Regulations of the State Real Estate Commission provide that a "broker shall retain records pertaining to a real estate transaction for at least three years following consummation . . ." This sparsely worded requirement raises a few questions. Do records, in the case of a transaction that is not consummated, ever need to be retained? And what exactly are "records pertaining to a transaction"? Do they include a post-it note or scrap of paper with a phone message? These questions have not been answered nor addressed. Have a Heart Food Drive was a Huge Success!

Many thanks to everyone who donated food during the month of February in support of our "Have a Heart" Food Drive...we collected 1,488 pounds!
The food was delivered to Bucks County Housing Group's food pantries in Milford Square, Doylestown and Penndel. We would also like to thank Paul DiCicco of Keller Williams, Doylestown for his generous $1000 donation to the BCHG's food pantries!

Fair Housing Risk Management Training

NAR Committee Recommendation Database Now Open!

The online Committee Recommendation Database on realtor�.org is now open to accept recommendations for anyone interested in serving on a NAR Committee in 2016. Using the database, you can recommend yourself or another suitable candidate for up to three committees at a time. When submitting a recommendation, you are required to include relevant comments that highlight the candidate's skills and qualifications for the position. Members are strongly encouraged to ask for recommendations from their peers and association staff. Information about the committee process and the various committees may be found here (you will be asked to sign into the NAR members-only area). The deadline is May 22.
