Election Process

This election is for three open Director positions on the BCAR Board of Directors for the term of 2015-2017. 

 

BCAR By-Laws require that, although there are three candidates for three positions, voting must occur.  Votes can be submitted electronically (see details on the left) or by paper ballot at BCAR Headquarters, 1452 Old York Rd, Warminster, Pennsylvania. 

 

The three candidates are listed alphabetically, below.    You may vote for up to three candidates. 


Voting will take place from September 15-October 3, 2014.  The new Directors will be introduced at the BCAR Expo on October 8, 2014 at the Radisson Hotel, Trevose, Pennsylvania at a General Membership meeting scheduled for 11 AM.

Anne Costello

ABR, SRES, e-PRO, GRI, GREEN, SFR, CDPE

 

Director Candidate Anne Costello has been a licensed PA Real Estate Salesperson since 2007 and a member of BCAR for the same length of time.  She is a Sales Director and Salesperson with Weidel Realtors® in the Yardley office.  Anne is a 2008 graduate of the BCAR Leadership Institute and has served as a member of the RPAC, Reach Out and Expo committees.  Anne has a degree in Business Administration from Drexel University and is actively pursuing a PA Broker's License.

Scott D. Geller
ABR, CRS, GRI
   

Director Candidate Scott Geller received his PA Real Estate Salesperson's license in 1986 and has been an Associate Broker since 1991. He has been a primary member of BCAR since 2000.  Scott is affiliated with RE/MAX Centre Realtors® and is a PA Certified Residential Appraiser for S.A.I.L. Associates, Inc.  He has served BCAR as a member of the Grievance, Professional Standards, Information & Education, Technology and Realtor®-Bar Committees, and currently serves as a member of YPN.  Scott has also served the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® as a Director and as a member of the Standard Forms, Grievance, and Professional Standards Committees. In addition, Scott has been recognized for exemplary service to the PAR Standard Forms Task Force on Agency, as well as currently serving on PAR's Legal Services and College Recruitment Task Forces.

Lynn Sharer

GRI



Director Candidate Lyn Sharer is an Associate Broker with Long and Foster Real Estate.  She became a licensed PA Real Estate Salesperson in 1999 and a licensed PA Broker in 2002.  She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at BCAR and has also served on the Community Services Committee for ten years.  Lynn holds a Bachelor's degree in Comprehensive Sciences and a Master's degree in nutrition and was a General Manager at Aramark for eighteen years.  She holds a license as a Public Adjuster and also an EMT.
