How Can You Reach Out?

October is "REALTORS® Reach Out Month".  The BCAR Reach Out Committee is looking for your help in the following ways:
  • Food Donations for Thanksgiving Dinner Bags for the Bucks County Housing Group Food Pantries in Milford Square, Doylestown, and Penndel (see details below) - Our goal is to fill over 150 bags!
  • Blood Drive held at BCAR on October 29 - click here to register -regular and double red appts available
  • Halloween Parties for children at BCHG homeless shelters in Morrisville and Doylestown 
Facts on Bucks County Homeless (recorded on 1.29.14):
  • 524 people were homeless in Bucks County - Out of every 5 people, 2 were children.
  • 428 people were sleeping in shelters.
  • 96 people were sleeping outside or staying overnight in churches across the county.
  • 50 runaway and homeless youth were counted, which was 10% of the total count.
  • 19 people were chronically homeless, and living with health conditions made worse by their homelessness.

$15 grocery store gift card (to be used for turkey)
Disposable roasting pan

We cannot accept expired food!
