Real Estate License Renewal

The license renewal deadline is May 31, 2014.   

 

Click here to renew your license.  Please note that for this renewal period an additional $10 is being assessed to every real estate licensee to replenish the Real Estate Recovery Fund by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission. This fee is assessed per person/entity, not per license. For those individuals that hold multiple active licenses (i.e. - Broker Sole Proprietor and/or Broker-Multi License), the individual will only pay the $10 once and not for every license held. If an individual has multiple licenses and is paying online, they will be notified separately concerning payment of the $10 fee.   If you haven't complete your continuing education classes yet - see list on left!

First Front Door Program

Down payment and settlement expenses can sometimes seem like insurmountable obstacles to first-time homebuyers. 2014 First Front Door grant assistance can help! 

The First Front Door (FFD) program, sponsored by FHLBank Pittsburgh, provides grant assistance toward down payment and closing cost expenses for households with incomes at or below 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). FFD will match $3 to every $1 of the homebuyer's contribution, up to a maximum grant of $5,000.

This year, FHLBank set aside $3.3 million dollars for FFD grant use! The demand this year is extremely high, and grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To be sure funds are still available for your homebuyers, please check FirstFrontDoor.com before referring them for application.

Who is eligible?
First Front Door homebuyers must meet the following requirements:
* Have total household income at or below 80 percent AMI
* Provide contribution for matching grant
* Be a first-time homebuyer
* Have a first mortgage provided by a participating FHLBank Pittsburgh financial institution
* Complete homeownership counseling
FFD is currently open for registration!
