The release date for the new Agreement of Sale and three revised commercial forms is officially set for May 5, 2014.

PAR Urges REALTORS to Make Your Voice Be Heard on Property Tax Reform

PAR is encouraging Realtor� leaders to travel to attend a Property Tax Reform Rally and Senate Finance Committee hearing which will focus on a comprehensive amendment to Senate Bill 76 next week in Harrisburg. The amendment, drafted by Sen. Dave Argall, addresses a number of technical issues with the current language of the bill. The committee will also hear testimony on the current state of sales and use tax revenue collected. The hearing will take place Weds., April 30 at 9 a.m. in Hearing Room 1 of the North Office Building of the Capitol. PAR will also hold a rally on the front steps of the Capitol at 11:30 a.m. that same day. Realtors who aren't able to attend the hearing and rally can still contact their senators and ask them to support the legislation. Notice Regarding License Renewal Fee for 2014

Please note that for this renewal period an additional $10 is being assessed to every real estate licensee to replenish the Real Estate Recovery Fund by the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission. This fee is assessed per person/entity, not per license. For those individuals that hold multiple active licenses (i.e. - Broker Sole Proprietor and/or Broker-Multi License), the individual will only pay the $10 once and not for every license held. If an individual has multiple licenses and is paying online, they will be notified separately concerning payment of the $10 fee. The license renewal deadline is May 31, 2014.
