RPAC's Weekly Top 10 Countdown

Regulating Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs). The unregulated practices of some Appraisal Management Companies have not been beneficial to REALTORS, consumers or licensed appraisers in Pennsylvania. RPAC teamed up with the Appraisal Institute and licensed appraisers in Pennsylvania to pass legislation that will regulate and hold these entities accountable for the work they produce. Legislation that will set up a system of regulation for these companies has been signed by Gov. Corbett.
