RPAC's Weekly Top 10 Countdown
WHY SUPPORT RPAC? At every level of government, your investment in the REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC) is protecting your business. RPAC ensures REALTORS have a seat at the table when legislation affecting real estate sales and property rights is introduced. Your annual $15 "Fair Share" contribution ensures that RPAC can continue to support candidates for public office that support home ownership and the real estate industry.
#7
Regulating Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs). The unregulated practices of some Appraisal Management Companies have not been beneficial to REALTORS, consumers or licensed appraisers in Pennsylvania. RPAC teamed up with the Appraisal Institute and licensed appraisers in Pennsylvania to pass legislation that will regulate and hold these entities accountable for the work they produce. Legislation that will set up a system of regulation for these companies has been signed by Gov. Corbett.
