New CIC Tenant to Add 800 Jobs
Gov. Jindal announced CSC as the new tenant of the National Cyber Research Park, bringing over 800 jobs to Bossier City.

The Cyber Innovation Center, Governor Jindal and Mayor Walker of Bossier City announced yesterday that 800 new high-tech, high paying jobs will be coming to Bossier's National Cyber Research Park over the next four years.  CSC will become an anchor tenant of the 3,000-acre research park being developed by the Cyber Innovation Center, a not-for-profit research corporation. CSC selected Bossier City following a competitive site-selection process during which the company considered 134 locations around the country.  READ MORE HERE.

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce launched the new website "Move to Bossier", which was designed to highlight the quality of life and innovation in Bossier Parish and Northwest Louisiana. The site was developed by the Bossier Chamber to meet the needs of companies looking to invest in the region by providing assistance in the recruitment and relocation of employees. The site displays a comprehensive look at life in Bossier, featuring aspects from work to play, learning and living.  In addition, users will have an interactive tool to help guide them when making decisions on relocating.

Bossier Chamber President, Lisa Johnson states "Producing tools such as "Move to Bossier" plays an important role in furthering the voice of Bossier Parish and attracting companies such as the recently announced CSC. This project is an extension of the Chamber's Alumni Initiative which aims to connect highly-skilled out-of-area professionals with innovative careers in Bossier Parish."

The Chamber partnered with the Cyber Innovation Center for the launch of this project, but intends the site to be an instrumental tool for its members who are looking to attain quality employees as well as workforce development efforts.  The Chamber is asking all members and community partners to link their website to movetobossier.com in order to expand its reach.
Welcome New Members!
