Hello From Hilary

Hello, music lovers! I hope your 2015 was a smashing success! By that, I mean that I hope you experienced joy and had the opportunity to spend enough time with the people you love. As we move into 2016, I recognize that time with loved ones is the greatest gift I can get, and one of the biggest perks of the touring life AJ and I have chosen is that we receive this gift so often. If we weren't on the road, many people in our lives would be faces on social media, words in an occasional email, or photographs in the mail once a year. Instead, we get to see so many of you when we come to your area to perform. So, to our friends, family, and new and longtime listeners: we love you, we thank you, and we can't wait to see you in 2016.

Special News: AJ and I have moved to the Pacific Northwest! We have a little artist's retreat (and our dream home, truth be told) on Harstine Island. In-between touring, we plan to learn how to care for our heavily forested acreage, and make the most of the fruit orchard we now have. Maybe I will start selling homemade jam at Hilary Scott shows. ;) We have big plans for this new space, and you can be sure a lot of new music will be made here. Be on the lookout for the completion of the Indie Go Go perks (still have some originals and covers to complete for people) and Concert Windows several times this year. We miss our friends and family back in Missouri, but Washington state is my first home, and it feels really nice to be back.

We are so happy to return to Morso where our Freight Train Love adventure began when we played Michael ONeill's Americana Music Series there in 2011. Although Michael now runs his series in California, we are bringing the storytelling vibe that we have enjoyed sharing in the intimate and beautiful atmosphere of this restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Gig Harbor to all of you for the third time. We hope all of our Pacific Northwest area friends can come see us and celebrate the new year!
