Hello From Hilary

I've been writing some new material that I'm very excited about and will be showcasing a few of my favorites on my upcoming shows. Also in the planning stages of making a new music video. Cant wait to share them with you.  Lots of fun things happening, as you can see below!

Freight Train Love featured in Maverick Magazine Music compilation CD

The September-October 2015 issue of Maverick Magazine features Hilary Scott's song, "Freight Train Love"  (the title track of her new CD, Freight Train Love) as one of the tracks on this issue's compilation CD.  The magazine (including the compilation CD as an insert) is available at Barnes & Noble and by subscription.


 
 




Flowers On Mars and Strawberry Scones

I was featured in a St. Louis blog pairing cooking with listening to music on vinyl!  The perfect pairing?  Strawberry scones and my red vinyl record, Flowers On Mars! 

The author, Becky Mollenkamp, says: "Last December, my boyfriend and I hit a free show at a local record shop on a whim.  We didn't know the artist; we were in it for a free beer.  I ended up loving St. Louis-based singer-songwriter Hilary Scott, who has a smooth bluesy voice that's radio ready...I'm just hoping she gets that exposure soon.  I bought her first EP, "flowers on Mars" because 1) I liked the music and 2) she recorded it only on red vinyl-a chick who loves vinyl is a chick I love.  With running time just longer than 17 minutes, this EP can keep you entertained while making the scones (then you can play it again while you eat them!)."
