Spring is trying to show its pretty face here in the Midwest, but we have been battling some serious storms. A tornado touched down in our neighborhood last week, and though my home and loved ones escaped unscathed, it reminded me of how lucky I am to not only enjoy life, but to get to play music and do something I am passionate about as a career. I continue to be amazed at the opportunities coming our way. Just this week, I get to play two fantastic venues in Mid-MO with my new AND former bands, and next week will head into the studio to record songs for a limited-release vinyl pressing for our summer tours. This May, I head out to Seattle to write songs with Michael O'Neill, which will result in a recording project later in the year in a new and exciting location. In July, AJ and I hop a big jet and head to the UK for a jam-packed two-week tour which we call the "Flowers on Mars" tour. I cannot believe we have a promoter, driver, agent, so much assistance in one incredible person. And in August, we look forward to driving cross-country, touring some of the western US, and down the coast. Our fans and friends have invited us into their homes as well-we have several house concerts booked along the way! See you out in the wild blue yonder! |

Friday, April 19th MORivCC awards benefit at The Blue Note: MO Riv-CC has recorded many of my performances in audio and/or video format, and they preserve much of the vital artistic culture in the region. I am honored not only to close out the night, but to share the stage with some amazing musicians. This is also a special treat fo Saturday, April 20th at Cooper's Landing: Cooper's Landing continues to be a favorite spot for our listeners to gather on the river for live shows. This may be our last show in the region for quite a while due to our touring schedule, so I hope you all can make it out. Just a note about the following UK gigs: If you or someone you know will be in the UK during our tour, please help us spread the word about the following dates, and please check back on my website frequently for added dates and radio appearances:
Lazy Bishops Music Festival
Americana Music Series UK
Chapel Arts Center
Eden Project Cafe'
The Old Queens Head
Fahrenheit 55
The Beehive
