| Hilary Scott |

While I plan to hunker down and spend this winter writing, and we plan a January tour for Hilary Scott and The New County Line (and possibly some exciting St. Louis happenings in the spring!) we also look forward to an upcoming show in Gig Harbor, WA. We are excited that Michael O'Neill , who hosts the syndicated radio show, "Who's Bad Now?" asked us to play at his venue, Morso. Mr. O'Neill brings roughly one Americana artist through each month - many of them quite big names (so we are more than honored to now be counted among them). Michael O'Neill is himself a man with an impressive history (his first touring opportunity was with U2, and he has played, written and recorded with most of the greats, like Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Grateful Dead, and Booker T and the MGs to name a few) and it is with great pleasure we play as part of his Americana Music Series. Hilary is featured on the American Music Series Facebook page - check it out for pics and videos! Americana Series Morso Check out Hilary's new blog post! |

Hilary Scott and The New County Line with Rock and Roll legend Chuck Berry at Blueberry Hill, St. Louis
Hilary Scott and The New County Line were the supporting act for Chuck Berry in the Duck Room at Blueberry Hill in Saint Louis, and managed to get a (reputedly quite elusive) photo with Mr. Berry himself. Currently in the mastering stages with Wilderside Productions in Nashville are the 4 songs Hilary co-wrote for a publishing deal several years ago. She wrote with Matthew Wilder, Angela Kaset, and John Goodwin, and the songs are to be released as singles in a radio campaign slated for 2013. Some recent feedback about Still from radio stations: Mick Cullen, WRLR Subterranean Radio is playing "Still"...he played "Hallelujah" to close his show out on Sept. 13th, and "Labor Of Love" has been added to WRLR's general rotation. Jesse Frayne, Music Director of Rockland World Radio says, "We have received a copy of "Still," by Hilary Scott and the New County Line, and are thoroughly enjoying it. We have played tracks on our New Music Monday program". Hilary Scott and The New County Line are listed on their Playlist page. and KC Cafe Radio Kansas City is playing "Still". While in the northwest to perform at the Morso Americana Series, Hilary and her percussionist AJ Gennaro will also appear on the syndicated radio show "Who's Bad Now?" with host Michael O'Neill for an hour-long interview and in-studio performance. We will keep you updated as to when the show will air. As a featured artist on Indie Showcase (based in Australia) Hilary Scott will be interviewed via Skype on Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 pm CST. The two-hour in-depth interview will be available worldwide with chat room interaction possibilities (get your questions ready!!) when you log in. Information about the interview and instructions for tuning in can be found on the Indie Showcase website. Radio Airplay (formerly Jango) Fan numbers are increasing (now over 440). The support of new listeners around the world has helped boost Hilary Scott's Facebook page Likes, and all of our fans helped our page reach over 1,000 Likes in time for Hilary Scott and The New County Line's opener for Chuck Berry. As a thank you, five free downloads of Hilary's music have been given away during the last few weeks. Like the Hilary Scott page if you haven't yet so you are ready to grab future offers! |
