YOUTH SERVICE TEAM - We're looking for 15 responsible youth (current 8th graders-12th graders) to assist the staff at annual meeting. From helping to direct attendees to workshops to assisting during plenary sessions, it's a great way for our young people to learn more about the wider church.
Talk to the youth in your congregation about being nominated as a member of the Youth Service Team. They must be able to arrive by 10am Friday, June 13 for orientation and stay through lunch on Sunday, June 15. If they are selected as a Youth Service Team member, there is no cost for them to attend annual meeting.
Deadline to nominate youth is Friday, April 11.

Game time: 6:00pm; Gates open 4:30pm
Tickets for the game are $11.00 per seat and $2.00 from each ticket will support Our Church's Wider Mission. The giveaway for that night are thunder sticks for the first 2500 fans.
The process is easy and can not only be a fun night out for your church family but give everyone a chance to interact with others from our church family in the Penn Central conference!
Promote the event to your church using the flyers/sign-up sheets and collect money over the next few Months. Call Jessica Kauffman at the Senators with the total number of tickets by July 24th and coordinate with her at that time the payment of the tickets as well as ticket delivery.

INVITATION TO MEET MISSIONARY SERVING IN NAMIBIA | |
The Namibia Partnership Team is excited to welcome Loletta Barrett to Penn Central Conference. Loletta serves with Global Ministries with the Namibia Synod of the United
Congregational Church of South Africa, Kalkveld, Namibia. She serves as a local pastor and provides spiritual leadership for the Kalkveld congregation. You are welcome to come, meet and hear about Loletta's experiences in Namibia on Tuesday, April 22 from 1pm-3pm here at the conference office.

YORK ASSOCIATION WORK CAMP OFFERING SPECIAL DEAL FOR CONFERENCE YOUTH GROUPS | |
All things are a GO for the Fourth First Capital Workcamp, June 15-21 - Except for one thing...Not enough registered work campers. In order to fill that need Group Mission Trips is offering this special deal:
For each youth group to sign up for this work camp, housed at Spring Grove Senior High School, the first 4 registered work campers will cost just $99, and the 5th one is FREE. All other work campers with that youth group would pay the regular rate of $459. That is like sending 5 campers for less than one camper at the regular rate!

THE SHARI PRESTEMON SOCIAL JUSTICE INTERNSHIP | |
Back Bay Mission is pleased to announce the Shari Prestemon Social Justice Internship which provides a member of the UCC between the ages of 19 and 35 with a unique opportunity to participate in a 10-week summer program tailored to their interests. Drawing on the Mission's long experience in community engagement and advocacy for justice, the internship will nurture participants' passion for social justice and develop their appreciation for the church's role in seeking social justice.
Interns are generously provided for while at the Mission. Interns have the cost of their travel to and from Biloxi covered by Back Bay Mission, stay in Mission housing while in Biloxi and receive a stipend of $250 per week. During their time at the Mission, interns will work in each program and engage in reflection with Mission staff.
