| AN INVITATION TO JOIN THE ISAIAH PROGRAM | | |
Beginning Sunday, March 3rd, from 2pm-5pm at Colonial Park UCC, Harrisburg we will meet every other month for the next eighteen months. The program will explore the following topics: worship, hospitality, finances/stewardship, neighborhood demographics, programming and events, spiritual formation, etc. Its purpose is to help congregations to spiritually and numerically grow. The program is designed to help congregations to reconnect with the community around them. The pastor and a congregational team can attend one or all of these workshops, depending on interest. | YOUTH DAY EVENTS AT HOFFMAN HOMES | |
Give your youth an opportunity to learn about the mission of the church and how Hoffman Homes is related to that mission. Youth Day Events will be held on Saturday, March 16th and Saturday, March 23rd. A special two-hour program with a continental breakfast is planned. This day will provide a unique perspective into the challenges of childhood mental illness and the outreach found within the many churches that support us. | JOIN INTERFAITH POWER & LIGHT'S NATIONAL PREACH-IN ON GLOBAL WARMING | | |
On the weekend before Valentine's Day (February 8-10), thousands of clergy and lay leaders will speak of their abiding love for God's Creation. The 2013 Preach-In will focus on how climate disruption is affecting people worldwide. The Preach-in kit includes sample sermons, "Love Creation" valentines (postcards) to the president, and a 53-minute film called "The Hungry Tide" about the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities. There are many ways to participate. There is no cost to register.

Looking to give up something for Lent? Try a carbon fast! Sign up and each day of Lent, beginning February 13, Ash Wednesday, you will receive an email message suggesting an activity that reduces the amount of carbon put into the air. Daily emails will continue through Easter Sunday, March 31.
