Destinations: Alicia Savage

neo_savage
Alicia Savage, Head in Clouds, from the series Destinations, 2012.

Although Alicia Savage uses herself as a model for the series Destinations, her colorful photographs transcend the genre of traditional self-portraiture and enter the realm of metaphorical or psychological landscape. With each image, Savage transports the viewer at once into the surrealist world of the unconscious, imagined, and remembered.
