The public is invited to join us on Saturday evening following the afternoon reviews for a Portfolio Walk to celebrate the New England photography community. Come to view the work of photographers participating in NEPR and to meet the reviewers.

Exposure is the PRC's annual juried exhibition, featuring work by emerging photographers across the United States. From a submission pool of 211 photographers, Juror Karen Haas, the Lane Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston,  selected work by eight contemporary photographers to comprise the eighteenth iteration of this show.

The PRC recently went through and re-catalogued the library, finding over 100 duplicate books and magazines that are up for sale at a bargain price during the PRC Sidewalk Sale! 

 

We will be selling additional items such as:

  • Graflex "Speed Graphic" 4x5 rangefinder camera with Graflex Optar 135mm f/4.7 lens

Internationally acclaimed photographer Ernesto Bazan will lead this special two-day workshop on building and editing a cohesive photography portfolio. The portfolio is the centerpiece of any photographer's repertoire. Every serious photographer must have a defined, well-produced body of work in order to be considered for publication or exhibition. In this class, you'll gain invaluable perspective on the editing process as you work to refine your own portfolio.
 

 

How to Find and Work with a Gallery

 

Cindy Stephens interviews Jason Landry, owner of Panopticon Gallery, and Annu Palakunnathu Matthew, Professor of Art (Photography) at the University of Rhode Island, on finding the right gallery for your career.
