Did You Know?
Did you know that Chris Stedman, Yale Humanist Community's Executive Director, is a nationally sought after speaker?
During the fall of 2014 Chris was a panelist at the annual meeting and conference of the Association of College and University Religious Affairs (ACURA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was a featured speaker at the Center for Inquiry in New York City, and a keynote speaker at both Furman University and Rochester University.
In the spring of 2015, Chris will be the keynote speaker for Interfaith Week at the University of North Dakota. He has also been invited to speak at the College of William and Mary, New York University, and the Bonuik Institute at Rice University.
Did you know Chris donates his speaking fees to YHC?
His energy and dedication can be felt throughout the New Haven community and Yale campus. His pursuit of collaboration, open dialogue, and community without dogma has given a fresh and positive opportunity for people of all worldviews to work together toward a common goal of service and support for others. His speaking fees are a significant portion of the YHC budget, and we are all the beneficiaries of his national presence.
As 2014 comes to a close, YHC wishes to thank Chris for his untiring efforts on behalf of our community. We also wish to thank our board of directors, volunteers, donors, collaborators, and event participants for their support, time and energy. We look forward to a new year of even greater outreach and accomplishments.
With the New Year upon us in just days, I wish you a 2015 brimming with health, friendship, goodwill and prosperity.
Nancy Kelly Executive Associate
On behalf of the entire community, thank you to those who have already supported our ongoing efforts. If you haven't done so already, will you please give? No amount is too small. Thank you.
