I would like to take the opportunity to personally recognize several individuals who have been recently honored by professional organizations for their outstanding work in the field of health and wellness.
Doug Leonardo, Executive Director of BayCare Behavioral Health, recently received the Dr. Donald "Jerry" Fuller award for Leader of the Year from Florida Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association (FADAA) at their recent annual conference in Orlando. CFBHN contracts with BayCare Behavioral Health to provide behavioral health services in our region.
Marcia Gonzalez Monroe, Vice President of Network Development and Clinical Services for CFBHN, was recognized by the Florida Council for Community Mental Health (FCCMH) as a finalist in the Administrator/Supervisor of the Year category at their recent annual conference. She was also recognized in a select group of individuals as a finalist in the highly prestigious Tampa Bay Business Journal's Business Woman of the Year awards in the Health and Wellness category.

Doug Leonardo named the Dr. Donald "Jerry" Fulner Award - Leader of the Year recipient at recent annual conference
Doug is the Executive Director of BayCare Behavioral Health located in New Port Richey. He was recently recognized at the FADAA/FCCMH annual conference for his innovative leadership and unwavering commitment to promoting quality substance abuse disorder and mental health services to Floridians in need of care.
He is a tireless advocate, a thought leader amongst his peers, and a long standing contributor to the work being done in the field by FADAA. He has successfully integrated behavioral health services into ten hospitals and emergency departments as well as Federally Qualified Health Centers and traditional primary provider clinics while tackling emerging issues related to services for veterans and pregnant women.
Marcia Gonzalez Monroe named Finalist for 2014 Business Woman and Administrator/Supervisor of the Year
Marcia Gonzalez Monroe, Vice President of CFBHN Network Development & Clinical Services, was recently named a finalist in the category of Health and Wellness for Tampa Bay Business Journal's prestigious award. Winners in all categories were announced at the awards event August 22, 2014 in Tampa.
She was also recognized as a finalist in the Administrator/Supervisor of Mental Health category at the recent annual conference.
