November 4 Election Information
With the Fall Election less than three weeks away, we would like to share the following information with you:

Absentee Voting
Registered electors may request to receive an absentee ballot by mail by filing an application in the Village Office. Alternatively, electors may cast an absentee ballot in-person at the Village Office during regular business hours beginning Monday, October 20 through Friday, October 31.

Voter Registrations
Residents who need to register or re-register due to change of address, name change or inactive registration, can do so by filing a voter registration application and providing a valid proof of residence at the Village Office by October 31 or at the polling place on Election Day.

Voter Photo ID Not in Effect
On October 9, the U.S. Supreme Court issued an order blocking the implementation of Wisconsin's voter photo ID bill for the November 4 election. Electors will not be asked to provide a photo ID in order to vote.

Political Signs
Just a reminder that signs of any kind are prohibited from being placed in the public right-of-way (measured 30 feet from the centerline of a public road). If Village personnel notice a sign placed in the right-of-way it will be removed. In addition, please be respectful of political signs placed in others' yards. Removing or defacing another's signs is a criminal offense.

Polling Place and Times
Voting on Election Day, November 4, will take place at the Prairie School Johnson Athletic Center. The polls will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If you have any questions about elections and voting, please contact Michael Hawes, Village Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer at 262.639.3524 or [email protected].
