Meet Toula DiGiovanni
|
Toula was a realtor early in her career before starting and growing an Information Technology Consulting business with her husband Michael. They sold the business in 2000 and moved to the Lowcountry in 2003. Toula received her license in 2004 and returned to real estate, in both commercial and residential sales. She joined the Akers Ellis team in 2010, earned her broker's license in 2012, and is a certified Loss Mitigation Specialist. Since coming to the Lowcountry, Toula has been involved in many real estate transactions in Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Johns Island, Downtown Charleston, Daniel Island and Mt. Pleasant. She has owned various properties on Kiawah as well as in Kiawah River Estates, on Johns Island. Whether representing the seller or the buyer, Toula works hard to bring value to her clients. She is an involved member of her community, enjoys golf, gardening, and biking, volunteers for Turtle Patrol, and has chaired the Kiawah Island Art and House Tour through Gibbes, as well as served as Sponsorship Chairperson. Real Estate News
We are enthusiastic about the real estate market trends in our area. Our sales are up 54% for 2014 compared to this time last year and, although there has been a recent seasonal surge in inventory, overall supply is less than this time last year. With Easter being late this year and a strong spring break season, we expect our real estate market to continue to improve.
Additionally, 2014 is shaping up to be a better rental year than any time in the past 10 years. Most of our luxury homes are sold out for the summer and most properties are 25% to 30% ahead of last year's pace. Thank you for your continued support.

Scotty's Ride For Water
April 13 - 17, South Carolina
Did you know that every 21 seconds, a child dies from water-related disease? When Scotty Parker heard that statistic, he knew he wanted to help. Did we mention, Scotty is not even ten years old? Scotty and his family have joined forces with Water Missions to help build a better tomorrow. Water Missions International is a nonprofit Christian engineering organization providing sustainable safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. And they're based right here in Charleston! Scotty and his family are riding across South Carolina (approx. 230 miles) to teach people about Water Missions and what they are doing. To learn more about Scotty's ride, watch this video or look for updates on Facebook. You can also make a donation here. Or learn more about Water Missions by visiting their website.
