Iroquois Valley Farms expands to Indiana, supporting another

4th generation young farmer.

Wilmette, IL - Iroquois Valley Farms announces its first Indiana farmland acquisition, continuing

expansion of its Young Farmer Land Access Program. The 121 acre farm located in Huntington County, Indiana, along with a recent acquisition of an 80 acre farm in Will County, Illinois, increases Iroquois Valley Farms' holdings to over 800 acres of sustainably managed farms.

Illinois-based Iroquois Valley Farms LLC supports sustainable agriculture by purchasing farmland for long term lease to family farmers. Many prospective farm tenants are third or fourth generation farmers looking for more land to grow their business. The term leases are designed to retain existing farm tenants and their intimate knowledge of the land. In this case the new tenant is the 4th generation of family farmers in the Roanoke area who grow a diversity of crops, including organic grains, vegetables and livestock.

Individuals seeking financial stability and participation in the growing business of local and organic foods are increasingly supporting the triple bottom line focus of this established company. Company shareholders are long term focused and include accredited individuals often using IRA's or other entities looking to invest in real assets with a social and ecological impact.

According to David Miller, CEO and founder of Iroquois Valley Farms, the investment theme is simple, "We're offering a unique growth opportunity supported by an appreciating and renewable real asset. Focusing on soil health and local and organic foods will naturally grow revenues and enhance the long term value of these farms."

Iroquois Valley Farms LLC was incorporated Illinois in 2007 to enable new capital in the field of sustainable agriculture.
