Laurel Springs Kitchen Gets a Clean, Bright and White Makeover
Original Kitchen before the makeover
These homeowners could not get their kitchen updated fast enough - even before they moved in. CCFF was called in to update their dark wood kitchen. This was the 2nd time around working together as CCFF renovated their previous home's kitchen two years ago.
Originally elder wood, these cabinets were refinished to a white painted finish with glaze in crevises. Other additions include:
Re-built Island with extended countertop
New stovetop hood
New stainless steel appliances
Light rail molding
Marble backsplash
Granite countertops
Ceiling beams retained and inset dark wood painted white
Top Knobs Cabinetry Hardware
New kitchen is now clean, white, fresh and bright
Designed by CCFF, the custom built Island creates considerably more usable countertop space. Other additions to the Island is the lighter granite countertop with the built-in sink.

The stovetop area of the kitchen got quite a facelift as well. The original black painted hood was removed and replaced with a clean and sleek stainless steel stovetop hood. The cooktop was also replaced making this a cooking space you see professional chefs using!

Painting the inset wood ceiling white opened up the space so dramatically that you feel like you are in a bigger kitchen -creating a much brighter, clean and airy feel.
