John Kiger, Assistant Manager of Reynolda Gardens of Wake Forest University, will give a talk on Reynolda's log cabin playhouse, originally for the boys in the family. No secret password required! Talk begins at the Museum.

Family First Workshop: Reynolda Pool Party

Date: Sunday, August 7
Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $8/person for Members; $10/person for non-Members

Eager for a chance to swim in the Reynolda pool? Families for this workshop will spend the first portion creating pool-inspired art; then, during the second half, all will be able to swim in the historic pool.

Reynolda Read-Aloud

Date: Friday, August 19
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Join us for storytime in the Reynolda House library! In this program for pre-readers, we will read children's books and engage young visitors with activities that relate to the selected stories. 










Cinema Under the Stars returns to Reynolda! In conjunction with the School of Filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, we will present films on our front lawn each Friday in August. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. each night and films will be shown at 8:30 p.m., or dark. Beer wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! 

Cost: $5 per person, $20 per car. Reynolda After Hours (RAH) passes are accepted.
Cash only (includes N.C. sales tax).
Location: Front Lawn

August 5: "The Goonies"
Come out and show us your best "truffle shuffle" dance!

August 12: "Labyrinth"
Come as your favorite incarnation of the much-missed David Bowie.

August 19: "Aladdin"
Bring your favorite "magic carpet" picnic set-up. Down in front!

August 26: "Field of Dreams"
Bring a ball and glove for a round of catch.
