Please Answer The Call!
As of April 2,
our student callers have been hard at work reaching out to alumni on behalf of the Caldwell College
Annual Fund.
Did you know that the percentage of alumni who participate in the annual fund affects a college's rankings?
Your gifts, regardless of size, make a big difference. Just by participating, you can help raise the college's national profile and strengthen the value of your degree.
All contributions help to ensure that our students receive an outstanding education year after year.

Dear Alumni,
Making (and keeping) connections after college can be a challenge. Between work, kids, grandkids, spouses, neighborhood gatherings, religious functions, and a multitude of other obligations, we have barely enough time to update our facebook statuses! Fortunately, Caldwell College is here to keep you grounded and connected not just through social media (check us out on facebook, linked in, and twitter!), but through fun events and educational opportunities as well.
In addition, we invite you to help us build and keep new connections by welcoming our newest members of the Alumni Association to the fold. Please consider joining us at the Con-GRAD-ulations Cocktail Party on May 8, an event that will not only celebrate 2013 graduates, but will also include a special presentation for Lady Lane, a tradition that Caldwell has maintained for over 70 years (more information below!).
Have your own ideas for an alumni gathering? Let us know at alumni@caldwell.edu.
We look forward to hearing from you soon! Sincerely, Jenny Mundell Director of Alumni Affairs jmundell@caldwell.edu |

Caldwell Alumna Presents Her Experiences at "Bridging Cultures" Film and Book Discussion
Alumna Enfel Haddouche '12 was a speaker at the Jennings Library's "Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys Bookshelf" program on April 12.
The Bookshelf is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association. Caldwell received the Bookshelf, which includes 25 books, four videos and the Oxford Islamic studies online database. The program is aimed at engaging the power of the humanities to promote understanding of and mutual respect for people with diverse histories, cultures and perspectives within the United States and abroad.
A master's candidate in European history at Seton Hall University and a graduate of Caldwell College with a bachelor's degree in history and English, Enfel came to the United States in 1996 with her family from Algeria. She was raised a Sunni Muslim, and while a student at Caldwell College she worked to create understanding and dialogue between the Muslim and Christian communities.
