  • While Moses was on Mount Sinai, G-d commanded him to tell the Israelites to build a Tabernacle.
  • Moses instructs the Israelites to bring a terumah (donation) for the building of the sanctuary.
  • Instructions for the construction of the Tabernacle are enumerated, including the ark and the poles for carrying it, made of acacia wood overlaid with gold, and two gold cherubim facing each other.
  • Moses is instructed to build a menorah to hold seven lamps.

The next step for our students will be competing in the Pennsylvania Jr. Academy of Science Fair, Feb 19, at the Silver Academy. The students will present their projects in PowerPoint format to a panel of judges.

Mazel Tov! 

Jordan Klein and Ortal Mayman recently wed in Tel Aviv on January 1st. Jordan is a Silver Academy Alumni and Ortal has helped our school tremendously by working with our Israeli students. The couple presently reside in Miami, Florida, where Jordan is  a Resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Ortal is working in the Business field.
