Depicting An Inner Saboteur Transformed
Into An Inner Ally For Success

Greetings!
Does your teenager struggle with test anxiety?
Teen angst, peer pressure and fear of growing up are not uncommon challenges for young people. However, when these inner emotions start to interfere with your child's performance in school, self esteem or sociability it may be an indication of long lasting limiting beliefs that can create serious blocks and barriers to their future success.
My specialty is helping your teen identify that little inner voice that says, "You can't do it. You're not smart enough. "You'll never be any good," and turn this inner saboteur into a positive and powerful inner belief that they can accomplish anything they set their desire and focus on.
I teach your teenhow to:
- Get in touch with their emotions through their body using Somatic Dialogue
- Recognize early warning signs of stress
- Desensitize triggers to building anxiety or panic
- Return their body-mind-emotions to relaxed and alert focus through guided visualization, diaphragmatic breathing
-
Reprogram dis-empowering beliefs, fears and thought patterns into positive and powerful inner knowing of success through
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Stress Reduction Tips

PROCRASTINATION
Causes & Cures
Psychological causes for procrastination are a matter of debate. Some believe it is connected to issues of anxiety, low self-worth, self-defeating or limiting beliefs, learned helplessness, disliking the task, boredom and apathy.
Research on the physiological roots of procrastination link it to the prefrontal cortex which acts as a filter for executive brain functions. Damage or low activation in this area can reduce an individual's ability to filter out distracting stimuli, resulting in poorer organization, loss of attention and focus, impulsiveness and increased procrastination.
Many times procrastination comes from an overwhelmed mind and not knowing what task to do first, so all gets postponed or avoided.
Learning effective stress reduction techniques such as meditation and visualization can help to calm down an overactive or overwhelmed mind, while diaphragmatic breathing also helps to oxygenate the blood and brain, improving memory, critical thinking and overall brain function. Learning time management and organization skills helps reduce mental stress, worry and overwhelm as you learn to schedule deadlines, pace long term projects, prioritize first things first and integrate replenishing down time to rejuvenate body, mind, heart, soul.
