Saint Pius X Catholic School-Ranked #5 in the State!

The Indiana Department of Education issues a ranking of all schools in the state based on the school's ISTEP+ scores as part of the overall Accountability Report Card process.

Saint Pius X Catholic School is proud to share that based on the 2015-2016 scores, Saint Pius School ranked #5 overall in the state out of 1,775 elementary schools.

Thank you, as always, for your partnership in the success of all students at Saint Pius X.
SRP School Safety Update
In our continued efforts to maintain safety in our schools, the Diocesan Safety Committee has mandated all Diocesan schools provide lessons to students that involve specific protocol for responding during an emergency situation.

This week, students are learning the vocabulary used during certain emergency situations and associated actions for safety. We will also conduct a lockdown drill as part of this lesson.

Click HERE for details on the protocols being presented.

ATTENTION EAST LOT DISMISSAL FAMILIES
On or near January 16, there will be some limitations to the area in the East Lot that will likely last through the end of the school year. Click HERE to view a map showing where new fencing will be erected to allow for equipment and dumpsters to be placed for the renovation of the existing church space. You will see, the fencing impedes on the area where your lines turn / form for afternoon dismissal.

We must work together to keep cars off of Fir Road as much as possible to avoid problems with law enforcement.

Preschool families, please arrive no later than 2:50 p.m. so we can load and dismiss you first.

K-8 families, please consider varying your arrival time, anywhere from 2:50-3:05, to help disperse the number of cars in the lot at one time.

The merge point will happen earlier in the lot that it has, so please work with others to merge where directed by school staff.

Thank you for your assistance during this temporary inconvenience!
