Prayer for Election Day

Almighty ever-living God,

In whose hand lies every human heart and the rights of peoples, look with favor, we pray, on those who govern with authority over us, that throughout the whole world the prosperity of peoples, the assurance of peace, and freedom of religion may through your gift be made secure.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
TONIGHT! Built with Living Stones: A Saint Pius and Trinity Lutheran Event
bricksMonday, November 7
6:30 p.m.
Trinity Lutheran Church
CR6, Elkhart

Saint Pius parishioners are invited to Trinity Lutheran's new church to guide us through their new church and explain the significant details. Father Bill will then share his presentation, A Teaching Church, with time for discussion and questions and answers. And, of course, we will enjoy wine, cheese, and fellowship.

ELECTION 2016: How Will You Vote?

Still deciding how to cast your vote?

Most important: PRAY!
Saint Pius X Creation Care Team: Care for Creation. Care for the Poor.

As children of God and members of the Universal Church, we see all over the world devastation caused by the misuse of creation.  This misuse of creation is a sin; not responding in a positive way to correct this misuse is a sin.  We, as a parish community, need to commit to positive, concrete actions within our homes and within our parish, and to educating the broader community in the types of things we can do to make a difference!

Simply Give
Meijer Simply Give Benefits Saint Pius Food Pantry

Customers of the Grape Road Meijer store can purchase $10 Simply Give donation cards that are then converted to Meijer food-only gift cards given to the Saint Vincent de Paul food pantry at Saint Pius X for use throughout the year to keep the shelves fully stocked.

From October 30- December 31, for each $10 donation card purchased, Meijer donates an additional $10. Look for the Simply Give cards at the store's checkout lanes. November 11-12 are DOUBLE MATCH DAYS: Meijer will double match every $10 Simply Give donation, meaning a $30 donation to the pantry!
