jeansDRESS DOWN DAY
Thursday, September 22 (TOMORROW!)


Students may wear any appropriate top (please, no inappropriate screen printing), and jeans or athletic pants/shorts on the bottom. Shorts must be no shorter than 2" above the knee. Leggins, skinny style pants are allowed if the top covers the bottom.


Additional guidelines for Dress Down Day:
-No headbands


-SHOES: Tennis or casual shoes are acceptable. (No open toe shoes or sandals). 



-OPT OUT: Students who choose not to participate should wear their regular school uniform.  


-GYM CLASS ON DDD: Students who have PE should wear tennis shoes. 


-GRADE 7/8 GYM ON DDD: Students in grades 7-8 who have PE should bring their PE uniform and will change clothes for class as usual.


-DRESS CODE ENFORCEMENT-All other Dress Code rules apply (no make-up, no nail polish, no jewelry,etc.)

Students are required to wear their school uniform. If your child is scheduled for gym on Picture Day, please have them wear their standard uniform, not gym wear. Students should wear gym shoes if they have gym.


Order forms are coming home soon. Do not return the form until your child's scheduled picture day.

booksAfter-School Student Book Clubs

K-2 (Young Hoosiers)  This club is for K-2 students and includes a read aloud and activity.  This club meets once a month, October-March.  Each month, a parent's permission is required. Sign-up via the school library page.  

 

3-5 Book Club This club is for 3rd-5th grade students.  This club will read 3 books (1 per trimester) and will culminate in a movie night in April. This club will meet 5 times (Welcome, Book #1, Book #2, Book #3, Movie Night).  Each meeting, a parent's permission is required. Sign-up via the school library page.  

 

Middle School Book Club  This club is for 6th-8th grade students.  This club will read 3 books (1 per trimester) and will culminate in a movie night in April.  This club will meet 5 times (Welcome, Book #1, Book #2, Book #3, Movie Night).  Each meeting, a parent's permission is required. Sign-up via the school library page.
