The keynote speakers for the 2015 WBENC Summit & Salute have been announced! 

 

WBENC welcomes keynote Dr. Randall D. Pinkett of the NBC reality show fame The Apprentice. A serial entrepreneur, he is on his fifth business venture as the founder, chairman and CEO of the management consulting and information technology solutions firm, BCT Partners. Join us Thursday, March 19th for an insightful, engaging presentation and book signing.   

 

This year's Women's Enterprise Forum Keynote speaker is Patrick Thean, author of How to Achieve Breakthrough Execution and Accelerate Growth and CEO of Rhythm Systems. This event is open to all attendees and will take place Tuesday, March 17th at 3:00 pm at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront (Waterview A-D).

Women Presidents' Organization: 50 Fastest Women Owned/Led Companies 

 

 

The Search is On!

The Women Presidents' Organization (WPO) has launched the search for the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies™ sponsored by American Express.

2015 marks the 8th Annual WPO competition to find the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies. Applicants are not required to be members or to join the organization and will be ranked according to revenue growth from 2010 to 2014. The winners of the 50 fastest growing companies have the chance to be featured online and in print.

To be eligible, companies must be:
  • privately-owned
  • women-owned/led
  • must have generated $500,000 (USD) in annual revenue by year end 2009
You do not need to be a WPO member to apply.

City of Austin: Small Business Program 




The City of Austin is partnering with the Aviation Department, Better Business Bureau, BiGAustin, channelAustin, EdTech, Microsoft, SCORE, Small Business Development Center Network, City of Austin Small & Minority Business Resources, LiftFund, City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department, and Women's Business Council - Southwest to provide this special lineup of classes and events in recognition of National Entrepreneurship Week, February 21 - 28, 2015.
