Fall Series
It's All About You!

When was the last time you focused on yourself? As a professional, it's easy to neglect your needs and devote your energy and resources to advancing your career. But, your health and the health of your business go hand in hand.

At WBCS, we're taking a holistic approach this fall with the Table Topics theme "It's All About You!" Attend the September 9 session to learn how to support your message through the use of color. On October 7, retrain your brain using positive psychology, and on November 11, discover ways to navigate through a major life shift and re-engineer your tomorrow.

September Topic:

Supporting Your Message
Successfully Communicating with Color
Presented by
Cathrine Hatcher, president of Personas ID

Did you know colors can create feelings that can support or detract from your message? It's important to understand the human response to color. Just because you may like certain colors or think those colors look best on you, does not mean they're the right colors for every situation or message. Our response to color is psychological - we're born with it!

Communicate non-verbally and support your message through the use of color with your wardrobe choices and in your collateral and branding messaging.

How to Master the Interview Process - By Brian Williams of Perspectivity Consulting. Winning bids is tough, so clear communication and effective presentation skills are important to your success.

To influence the selection committee to select your company and to drive them to the 3 B's, you must convince them:

  1. To BELIEVE in you and your company
  2. To BUY your product or service
  3. And to BITE, meaning to select your firm, and to convince others on the committee to do the same

Brian Williams uses his experience as Head of Global Business Strategy in Silicon Valley where he ran a 32-person team, located across 4 countries, with a $10M budget. He would later reach the World Semi-Finals in the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking.  He's met with selection committee's at DFW Airport, DART, the City of Dallas, and a few of the largest Architecture & Construction companies in DFW.  So be prepared to receive tools, information, and training that will help you win more bids and increase revenue.
