LILLIE KNOX INVESTING FOR GROWTH AWARD
Want Cash for Your Business?

WBCS invites WBEs to apply for the Lillie Knox Investing for Growth Award for the chance to receive up to $5,000 to help grow your business! This award is available to all WBEs who are eligible, regardless of company or revenue size.

Hear from one of your peers, Sharon Garman of the RoArk Group, on the value of the Lillie Knox Investing for Growth Award.

"As every woman business owner knows, shrinking profit margins make purchasing new equipment or software programs seem like an impossibility. Our business was facing the challenge of achieving stronger marketing results, and we determined that purchasing a new software program would benefit our business. But it was difficult to justify the price of the software. Through the Lillie Knox Award, we were able to purchase the program and improve our marketing strategies.  Lillie Knox has created a lasting legacy to all women business owners who receive the award named in her honor."

The process couldn't be easier. Just submit a completed application by July 31, 2014. Click here for details.

WOMEN OWNED LOGO
     Women-Owned Logo

Did you hear there is a new logo out there for products of women-owned businesses? As a certified WBE you're eligible to display the logo on product packaging.

There is substantial research validating the buying power of women, especially in consumer marketplaces. Nearly 80% of all purchasing decisions globally are influenced by women, and women consumers are more likely to purchase products when they are made by women.

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), WEConnect International and Walmart have joined forces to create a unique symbol for retail labeling of products from women-owned businesses. This new symbol will bring consumer recognition of products provided by women-owned businesses on store shelves both in the US and international markets. Only women-owned business certified by WBENC and/or WEConnect will be eligible to display the symbol on their product packaging.

For more information, visit http://womenownedlogo.org/.
