DOROTHY B. BROTHERS EXECUTIVE
 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
       WBE Scholarship Opportunity

Dorothy B. Brothers Executive Scholarship Program is a prestigious scholarship opportunity providing women business owners with up to $11,000 each in tuition to a WBENC approved executive education program.

Our community suffered a great loss with the passing of Dorothy B. Brothers in July 2002. Ms. Brothers was a supplier diversity and development executive, as well as a WBENC board member. The Dorothy B. Brothers Executive Scholarship Program was founded by Ms. Brothers.

For a list of criteria, or to apply, click here.

Submit the completed application by July 3, 2014
to dbb@wbenc.org. Scholarship award recipients will be notified in late August by phone and email upon final selection. Contact Lindsay Burger at 202-872-5515, ext. 8102 or LBurger@wbenc.org for information about how to contribute to the fund.
TUCK-WBENC EXECUTIVE PROGRAM

The Tuck-WBENC Executive Exchange Program is an intensive, five-day executive development program for WBENC-Certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs). It is an intensive learning experience that focuses primarily on increasing the competitive advantage and robustness of the participant's own business. Up to 50 WBE attendees will form a learning community that will continue to provide a source of support, expertise, opportunities and strategic alliances long after graduation.

The 2014 Tuck-WBENC Executive Program, brought to you by IBM, will be held October 5-10, 2014, at the IBM Dolce Palisades facility in Palisades, NY.

The best part is that you are able to use scholarship money earned from the Dorothy B. Brothers Executive Scholarship Program for Tuck tuition; that is a great deal!

The application deadline is August 4, 2014.

WHAT IS THE FOCUS FELLOWS PROGRAM:

Now in its third year, digitalundivided's FOCUS Fellows program is a rigorous week long program (September 30-October 5, 2014) for black women founders of developed, but early staged, technology enabled companies. The program is held in New York City during the FOCUS100 conference. Early stage is defined as less than $50,000 in revenue and/or funding.

This year, they're accepting 8 FOCUS Fellows for the program. Please note that digitalundivided takes a very small equity position in exchange for participation in the program.
