BUNDLE AND $AVE
Time is running out for you to take advantage of saving money on membership or certification dues with bundling your 2014 WBCS Event Sponsorship!

Remember this is a great way to get your company's name and logo seen by hundreds of peers and potential future prospects.

This year, we have moved the deadline to bundle your sponsorships. You MUST complete and return the worksheet by December 31, 2013.

Click here to access the bundle worksheet and more information about sponsorships.

CORRECTION:
The sponsorship catalog you received in the mail lists the incorrect date for the 2014 businessWORKS Expo! The correct date is April 10, 2014.
 GALA LIVE AUCTION ITEMS
With the Parade of Stars Awards Gala just around the corner, we need your help to make this event a success!

We all love the live auction, and in an effort to make it the best yet- we need your support in the form of a live auction donation. Aside from a sponsorship, this is a great opportunity for you and your company to be recognized in front of the 500+ expected event attendees. Previous auction items have included sporting tickets and suites, concert and performing arts tickets, gift cards, airline tickets, vacation home rentals and even cash - the options are limitless!

If you're interested in making a donation please contact Elizabeth Thresher (817) 299-0566 x 211. All items must arrive at WBCS by January 17, 2014.

Thank you for your support!

 CERTIFICATION REMINDERS

Are you taking advantage of the opportunity for multiple certifications offered through the WBCS?

As an additional benefit of membership, eligible businesses are screened and submitted for:

In order for WBCS to screen your application for these additional certifications, you must provide your company's IRS Form 941 for the most recent four quarters or a copy of your most recent W-3.

Eligibility for these certifications is based on employment or revenue thresholds established for your primary NAICS code. It is very important that the NAICS code selected in your WBENCLink profile accurately reflects your primary business services and matches the Business Activity Code listed on your federal tax return.

Quick notes:

  • To be considered for WOSB certification, you must complete the WOSB tab of your WBENCLink application and forward a print-out of the summary view to the WBCS Certification Department along with proof of your active registration status in SAM.gov.  (Sam.gov registration is free.)
  • All Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) are automatically screened for HUB and SBE eligibility, and eligible WBEs contact info is exported to the State Comptroller's office and DFW Airport's Business Diversity and Development Department.
  • If your company is indirectly contracting with DFW Airport via a subcontract, you must request a copy of your SBE certificate from the WBCS Certification Department.
  • Please note that WOSB, HUB, and SBE certifications will have the same expiration date as your WBENC certification.

Have questions? Email Anita Steel or Kelly Francis in the certification department.
