"I'm honored that WE Texas wanted to tell PMUSA's story," Sanchez said of the company's coverage in the magazine. "Ours is one that proves that, even coming from humble beginnings providing janitorial services to a few businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, anyone can achieve success. It takes perseverance, commitment and a willingness to adapt to the changing competitive landscape," Sanchez added.
The article also addresses PMUSA's Women's Business Enterprise-certification status since 2006, as well as the company's own supplier diversity initiative, which began in 2012. The initiative has already surpassed the 2013 goals of achieving 5 percent of its spend with WBE's and Minority Business Enterprises. So far this year, the company's spend with WBE's and MBE's has reached 7 percent.
