One of the much-anticipated aspects of the Southwest Women's businessWORKS! Expo is the extensive Silent Auction that supports programs offered by WBCS to its members.

All proceeds from the Silent Auction go to the WBCS for improved programming and member services.

We are looking for dynamic women business owners who are the founding CEOs of privately held U.S. companies that are less than 10 years old. Typical applicant annual company revenue ranges from $1 to $20 million.

April 6, 2013 

 

The annual Knowledge is Power Conference will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Bill J Priest Center. This conference will provide information about doing business with public entities; workshops aimed to stimulate the growth of minority and women-owned businesses; and business to business networking. 

 

There is no cost for this event, but registration is required.

The 2013 WBENC National Conference and Business Fair will be held June 25-27, 2013, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Online registration is now open. The Early Bird Attendee discount is available until April 12, 2013.

 The Four Manifestations of Leadership 

 

When different leadership styles are brought into a team or group, the results can manifest in a variety of ways.
