PARADE OF STARS AWARDS GALA RECAP | |

The Parade of Stars Awards Gala was held on January 31, 2013, at the Omni Hotel in Dallas. More than 500 attendees honored twelve Award winners.
The third annual Live Auction, sponsored by Oncor, offered unique items and was entertaining as usual. This year's Heads & Tails Game was one of the highlights!
Prior to the main program, attendees enjoyed their "moment" on the Red Carpet, sponsored by Pinnacle Technical Resources, and mingled with friends at the Cocktail Reception, sponsored by ICON Information Consultants, LP. A pre-Gala reception for more than 40 regional members and the Board was sponsored by Trans-Expedite, Inc.
Thank you to the committee co-chairs and returning emcees - Grace Hastings (Oncor) and Deanna Becker (Peak Promotions). Congratulations to the Gala Committee, volunteers, and WBCS staff for executing a great event!

The American Express OPEN has launched the 2013 search for the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies in North America.
To be eligible, companies must be:
- privately-owned
- women-owned/led
- must have generated $500,000 in annual revenue by year end 2007
- must have reached revenues of $2 million by year-end 2012
Companies will be ranked according to revenue growth from 2008 through 2012. The top 50 fastest growing companies have the opportunity to be published online and in print.
Applications must be submitted by February 25, 2013.
