WIST education courses now offered through TAPPI
We're excited to announce a new partnership with TAPPI that will provide a wider audience for our series of courses in paper making. As the largest professional association for the paper, pulp, packaging and converting industries, TAPPI will help us reach more of the people who will benefit from WIST education.

The TAPPI website now hosts course information and the association will handle registrations; the process is conveniently online.

One thing hasn't changed: Students will continue to get the expert instruction and hands-on experience WIST courses are known for. The Faustel pilot coating and lamination line, Fourdrinier pilot paper machine and associated paper making equipment at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point provide opportunities for students to learn by doing, under guidance by WIST and paper science and engineering faculty and staff.

In 2016, we have a full slate of courses including Hands-on Paper Making, Optimizing Sheet Structure for Maximal Product Performance, Introduction to Paper Making Additives, Coating and Lamination in Packaging Applications, and Introduction to Concepts and Technologies in Biomass Bioeconomy.
