The official first day of spring or the "Vernal Equinox" is March 20th. As you probably know, that is the day when we have approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness and the sun rises directly from the east and sets directly in the west. So bring it on Ma Nature...Bring it On!!!
And now that you know it is "almost" official, and as the days warm up, it's time to get to thinking and planning about what needs to be done with your lawn and landscaping. In trying not to be annually redundant, you can click on the link

As for now, I for one am going to wait out the upcoming snowfall tonight and be ready to go prune some trees come this Friday when the sun is suppose to be shining bright with the temperature in the 50's. And if by some strange quirk you do not have any trees to prune at your home, feel free to come join us. With some 400 plus trees to prune there are always plenty of extra shears to pass around.
See you all soon!!!
Ken
P.S. Don't forget! We have all your needed lawn and landscape seed, fertilizers, pre-emergent weed inhibitor, fungicides, insecticides and a bunch of other stuff here to help you along in your tasks.
