52nd Annual Festival review
|
The 52nd Wickford Art Festival is a wrap! We had a "perfect palette" of great weather, super crowds and lots of incredible, beautiful art over the weekend in Wickford. Thank you to our artists, sponsors Centreville Bank and Gooseneck Vineyards, volunteers, advertisers, 2014 scholarship winners, the Town of North Kingstown and of course the art lovers ~ we are looking forward to July 11 and 12, 2015!

Upcoming Fundraising Events:

This year we are enacting our new bylaws with our annual Members business meeting to be held on the 3rd Tuesday of September which is the 16th. We encourage ALL members to try to attend. Reports will be given and and update on the plans for the building expansion as well. This is your opportunity to get all the information at one time.
- Immediately following on the 17th we have a fundraiser titled "UP Close"where 3 well established New England artists will be painting live and speaking about their process. This is limited to 60 guests and tickets are $100.00- a guest list is started at the gallery. The event closes at 60 guests- so get on the list soon.
- Next we will be hanging the 50 works of donated art for an opening reception titled "Inspired Moments" on Friday the 19th of September.
- Next there will be a poetry event on Wednesday the 24th.
- Finally there will be the Gala under a tent and by the beach for 200 guests. Live music, poetry and painting live will all occur...more details to come!
So stay informed and get involved- there are a lot of great things coming and your involvement is crucial. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
