RISD Final Projects exhibit
The 2013 graduating class from the Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education Digital Photography certificate program will be having an exhibit at The Warwick Public Library. Nine of the fifteen graduates will be participating in an exhibit that will showcase a portion of the work they accomplished during their Final Projects Studio Class, which is mandatory for graduation. The class was taught under the direction of Claudia Dunagan during the spring semester. Students had to formulate a photography project that would culminate into a concise body of work that was presented during a final critique at the end of the semester. Project ideas were varied and completed as exhibition prints, multimedia presentations, books and other visual media forms.
Participating students and their projects are as follows: Allyson Barth- Faces of Change, Denise L. Flores- Water Droplets, Sherry Marie Marques- e scape, Mariah Plantier- Progression?, Nova Seals- home, Wendy Shea- A Little Girl and the Whole Wide World/30 Days of Gratitude, Chelynn Sheehan- Focus New York, Rita Shiff- The Blind Men and the Elephant: A Photographic Interpretation, and Todd Stevens - Claude and Todd.
