Don't forget that the "A-L Members Show" opening is today, Sunday from 1-3pm. 

"Coming up next is the M-Z Members Show"
Check out the 2012 Show calender to your left for registration times and show dates.
ATTENTION!! 
The Members' "M-Z  Show" opening was scheduled for Easter Sunday! OOPppsss. The registration times will remain the same, but the opening will be pushed back to the next Sunday. April 16th from 1-3pm.
Remember each Member can put one piece in for free and all artwork will be accepted!  Ribbon Awards only.

Member's News:


  • Carole Berren's students will be having a show at the Cranston Public Library (Garden City).  The opening is to be Sunday April 1, 2012.  The show will run through April 30.  Come see the beautiful work of over 50 wonderful experienced and emerging artists.  Delicious food and drink at the opening. Please join us.

  •  Nancy Paull won and Honorable Mention at the Newport Art Museum 
  • Sally Caswell, CA, RIWS, is pleased to announce that her monotype, "Autumn Song" is #124 in the juried WGBH 2012 Art Auction. Bidding is available on line at auction.wgbh.org  through Saturday, March 24, when the auction will be broadcast at 6 p.m. on Channel 44, and at 8 p.m. on Channel 2.  Telephone bidding begins March 24 at 6 p.m. EDT.

  •  Trish Marcaccio was awarded an "Honorable Mention" for her mixed media painting "Snowy River" in the current exhibit at the Warwick Art Museum...." Women Artists of R.I."

"Seeing The Light"

with Jan Armor

Five Weeks Of Inspiration, Creativity And Fun For Digital Photographers

May 5th through June 2nd, 2012.

Each 3 hour class will run from 10 AM-1 PM on consecutive Saturdays.

Student Fee -- 5 weeks--- $125 for members, $145 for non-members.

Minimum of 7 students, max 15 students

This workshop is about "Seeing The Light," both literally and figuratively.
