March 2015

2015 continues and here we are already into the 2nd quarter.  If you have all of the EHS Manager responsibilities I suspect, you've likely already submitted your Hazardous Waste Report (if annual in your state), the Tier II Report, and are close to being done - I hope! - with your Annual Air Emission Report; with the TRI still to go!  If you wait until you have time for training it will be too late:  contact me now to schedule your training even if it's for later in the year.  Get it on the schedule now and then get back to the work at hand.

State-Specific Regulations. This Month: California! Hazardous Waste Regulations in California

Back to the Sunshine State with a deceptively simple requirement of the regulations: the marking of a hazardous waste container.  But nothing is easy with the Department of Toxic Substance Control in CA, so you need to know how to do it the California Way!

The 2015 Definition of Solid Waste Rule:  A brief summary.

Instead of addressing the entire 2015 DSW head-on I've decided to break it into more easily understood articles.  The first in the series is this one:  A Summary of the 2015 DSW.  Read it and then ask me the specific questions you have about this expansive new regulation.  More articles on this topic will follow; stay tuned!

What's Coming Down the Pipeline?

The Regulatory Pipeline

Every day new regulations are being announced by EPA, PHMSA, FRA, FAA, & FMCSA.  What I've done is reviewed the list of publications in the Federal Register and compiled them in one document for you.  Please take a moment to look at the following:
