Yow! Where has the New Year gone? I know it's only February, but still! I should be working on my second monthly newsletter for the year and here I am just now getting out my first.
Onsite Training has been the cause of its delay. As you can see for yourself - below in this newsletter - I've been all over the country this year for Onsite Training and have more scheduled in March.
The most challenging and time-consuming aspect of Onsite Training is making it specific to the operations and regulations (Federal, State, & local) of my customer. It takes time and research that would otherwise be dedicated to writing articles and publishing this newsletter.
If you want to continue to read my informative articles, great; stay subscribed to this newsletter and recommend it to others. But if you want to receive the full benefit of all of my research then please register for one of my Training Seminars or Webinar Training, or contact me to discuss Onsite Training.

State-Specific Regulations. This Month: New Jersey!
This is the big one! My Onsite Training forces me to dig deep into the regulations of a state. A byproduct of that effort is what I have here: A summary of the waste management regulations in New Jersey. Used oil, hazardous waste, training, universal waste, satellite accumulation areas...it's all here!

What is meant by a "threat to human health and the environment"?
The emergency coordinator of a hazardous waste generator is required to make an immediate notification to both State and Federal authorities in certain situations, including those that pose a threat to human health and the environment. In addition, "...possible hazards to human health or the environment" is cited at 40 CFR 265.56(c) regarding responding to hazardous waste emergencies. This article provides guidance and example scenarios of what is meant by this term. Read this short article to be sure.

I don't just write articles!
Sometimes a Power Point presentation is better than an article for summarizing complex regulations. Take a look at mine on SlideShare.
YouTube allows me to provide audio and live animation to my presentations. I hope to use it more.
