Erie Art Museum Second Sundays
Second Sundays, a Free Art Program for Families!
The Erie Art Museum offers a free educational program every month that allows families to explore the galleries and create art together. Each month features a new exhibit, a short tour with a Museum educator and hands on craft. Visit our website for information and upcoming programs-http://erieartmuseum.org/education/secondsundays.html!
On May 8, 2016, work with artist Dan Schank in his exhibit Plenty, to create travel postcards from outer space! This exhibit features colorful mixed media collage paintings of shopping malls, cruise ships and desolate lands, giving us inspiration to make our own imaginative greetings from other planets. Explore materials like fabric, blueprints, wallpaper, magazines in addition to your own drawings to create a unique collage!
Second Sundays provides FREE admission to the Erie Art Museum from 1 to 5PM with tours and exhibit based art making from 2-4PM. This program is supported by Erie Arts and Culture and PA Cyber School.
