Science Fair Winners

Congratulations to the fifth and sixth grade students who participated in the Diocesan Science Fair at St. Luke School on Thursday, April 21, 2016. All earned a First Place Award for their projects. We are OLProud of all of you!

Chuck E Cheese donates 15% of the sales generated from this event to your child's school. Friends and family members are encouraged to help support this event.

OLP Summer Program
The Place to BEE this Summer!
June 6, 2016 - August 12, 2016

Our theme this year is "The Place to BEE This Summer!" The program is open to students entering Kindergarten through Eighth grade. We encourage enrollment at the start of the summer. Applications received after the program begins will be accepted on a space available basis.

NEW THIS YEAR! Bricks fro Kids will be onsite one day a week to conduct a one-hour mini camp throughout the summer.

Registration forms below may be downloaded and printed or are available in the main office of the school. All three forms must be completed to register for the summer program.

We are in need of head coach for Girls Varsity Cheerleading for Fall 2016. Please contact Vinnie Padalino if interested. vpadalino@eriesd.org

OLP Golf Team

The OLP golf team is open to students in grades 5 through 8.

Practices will be Wednesdays starting April 27 at J.C. Martin Golf Course. Students will be going out in groups of four beginning at 4 p.m.

Cost is $10 per student, per practice, unless he or she is a member of J.C. Martin.

A short parent meeting will take place at the start of practice on April 27.

Golf matches are the following dates:

� Saturday, May 21 at Lake Pleasant Golf Course

� Saturday, June 4 at J.C. Martin Golf Course

� Friday, June 10 & Saturday, June 11: Parochial Tournament at J.C. Martin Golf Course

OLP Track and Field Update

ALL PAPERWORK and FEES are DUE to the Coaches Thursday, April 28th.

Please send them to school c/o Korey Webber 5B as soon as possible.

There will be a practice held today, April 26^th from 5:15 to 6:15 for the students participating in the Little Lions Track and Field Classic on Thursday, April 28th. Kids not participating in the meet are also welcome to attend. Meet by the soccer field. This practice is for all grades.

Sunday practices continue at the Behrend track from 2-4pm. These practices are great to try all of the events! We hope to see you all there! There is no practice scheduled for Mother's Day.

Practice days at OLP will vary week to week, and we hope to rely on email for communication once we have all the paperwork in. Thanks for your patience!

Casino Night

OLP's annual Casino Night will take place at Rainbow Gardens on Saturday April 30, 2016. Doors open at 6pm and the event runs all night with Horse Racing, and several Games of Chance not to mention the Grand Prize drawing. Enjoy these games, food and beverages with your Cash Back admittance ticket. Tickets are available in the OLP Church office.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Please consider volunteering your time even if only for one hour. The proceeds of this event fund the Parish, School, and Athletics programming. Several stations are in need of Volunteers! Villa Volley Ball Clinic

THE 10th ANNUAL CATHEDRAL PREP BASKETBALL CAMP WILL TAKE PLACE JULY 18 TO JULY 22, 2016 FROM 9-4 PM DAILY. THE COST OF THE CAMP IS $150($130 IF REGISTERED PRIOR TO MAY 1^st.) WHICH INCLUDES CAMP INSTRUCTION, CAMP SHIRT, CAMP BAG, WATER BOTTLE, CAMP BASKETBALL AND LUNCH DAILY. Congratulations Challenge 24 Team!

The OLP Challenge 24 Team competed in the Diocesan competition in Meadville on Monday, April 18, 2016. Congratulations to Olivia Sanders who earned a gold medal and fourth grader Graydon Brugger who earned a silver medal. We are OLProud of the whole team!
